As an only child who grew up on Power Rangers and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, pop culture is part of the foundation of my upbringing. As a young LGBTQ person, I found my community on social media first. For those reason it’s no surprise that entertainment and social media are where I landed professional because it is my passion that brought me here.

Having covered the LGBTQ community at NBC News’ news vertical NBC Out and handled social media for publications including NBC News and Entertainment Weekly, I have gained the skills necessary to be an asset to teams working on editorial and social media projects. I have two specific areas of interest: entertainment at large and anything having to do with marginalized communities. Whether it is handled the project management for an editorial project or writing entertainment pieces as a freelancer, I am ready to help tell stories using digital media.
